About this event
The Scarecrow Festival at Skerries Mills is a family fun day, although the Scarecrows hang around long into the dark evenings and may give you the giggles or the spooks.
Every scarecrow is created by upcycling materials and old clothes, and somebody’s individual concept. Many local groups and special need support teams take part for the fun of and the competition each year. The festival is run by Skerries Mills Community Garden, and the unique creations are displayed (or planted) in the Community Gardens.
Including facepainting for kids and a range of family focused activities from puppet shows to storytelling.
Fingal - Ireland Home of Halloween.
